*You are basically paying for the view* We chose this location based on the photos. When we pulled up to the cabin upon arriving we first thought we had the wrong location. Overgrown weeds blocking one of the doors, the grill looked like it had been pulled out of the garbage dump, the porches have not been swept in forever, the outside cushions were nasty and you didn’t want to sit on them and the water from the faucets was BROWN. The hot tub had brown sediment in it and it has not been cleaned in quite some time. We come to this area several times a year and we really enjoy this specific area of the Smokies so we have stayed in many cabins and this is by far the worst. We made the best of it because we didn’t want the hassle of moving to another cabin. The cabin itself was clean on the inside but it is very dated and if you plan to cook or use cups, plates etc. be prepared to bring your own because supplies are very sparse.

I'd lead with we are pretty easy to impress. It's Hawaii after all, how bad could it be?! Overall the condo was clean and the same as the photos. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking items, its spacious, and the beds were comfortable. The location is excellent and they had lots of beach things. A great spot for a family that wants to be close to the beach and cook a few meals in. The picky bits were that there is no longer an ice machine. It must have broken and hasn't been replaced. The air conditioner is LOUD. So loud its hard to have a conversation with it on and it doesn't seem to be large enough or work well enough to cool the space. We asked if it needed service on the second day and they did respond that they would talk to maintenance but we never heard back. They said they hadn't had the complaint before but I saw a review a year ago that said the same. It also concerned me that we were asked not to post any negative feedback by the owner and to only share directly
