It was a great day, and a great location. We enjoyed the cool breeze that carried through the apartment.

Sehr zufriedenstellend. Schöne, geräumige Wohnung mit guter Ausstattung. Man fühlt sich gleich wohl. Strandnah. Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Schiebetürzur zur Terrasse klemmt katastrophal. David hat allerdings angeboten, diese sofort reparieren zu lassen. Alles in allem : sehr empfehlenswert.

Great spot, exactly what we needed.

We had a great experience staying at David’s place in Kihei. The location was perfect. Just a short drive to many different parts of the island and best of all, it’s only a few minutes walk to one of our favorite beaches in the area. The home was stocked with everything we needed including beach toys for my girls, chairs, an umbrella, a small cooler and even a wagon. David was proactive in sharing important information before our arrival and was also very responsive to any questions we had while we were there. Mahalo David for helping make our stay a memorable one! We will definitely be back.

Wonderful place .area-really beautiful peaceful environment.about ours host David really great person reason I said today 08/15/25 my flight leaves at around 9pm but I requested him to check out at around 1pm so he said it’s ok then take care of matters.I highly recommend any one to stay at this place.

Great stay, host was very responsive and helpful.

Lots of problems with this place. When we arrived, 6 of the lights were burnt out, a fitted sheet for the murphy bed was ripped right in the middle. The blanket for the murphy bed was tucked away in a chest of drawers that I found on the 2nd night. The TV remote didn't exist, just a roku remote. 3 other remotes didn't work (Fan, AC, other AC unit). The AC units are so loud you cant sleep with them on. The smoke alarm was not connected. When turning on the icemaker in the freezer, puddles of water appeared on the floor. The sliding screen door and the sliding glass door...NEITHER LOCK. The soap dispenser in the kitchen is broken. The sliding glass door in the master bathroom shower is tilted due to it not being sealed correctly. ...and just stuff that is not great for presentation...the towels in the same bathroom don't match colors, the silverware is 3 different styles the glasses, plates and bowls are all different The beds were comfortable, but I would never stay her again.

The location is a short walk to Kam Beach III which was perfect. Plenty of beach amenities for our family. One thing to note is that the building and unit are more dated than I expected, but the proximity to nearby beaches made up for all that.

Great condo for a family vacation to Maui. David was very flexible with an early check in and late checkout. The location of this condo is likely the best in the Kamaole Sands complex, close to the beach, close to the outdoor shower, access to the Lanai, etc. Seating for 6 on the Lanai was great for us. Would stay again for sure.

This was absolutely perfect for our family of 6. Easy walk to the beach. Lots of toys Our 4 small children were easily able to stay on the sleepers in the living room. Would love to stay again!

We really enjoyed our stay, use of the kitchen, outside BbQ and the ability to use the beach equipment. Friendly staff, great maintenance and all around pleasant place to be. We love Hawaii 🩷

Our family of 5 had an amazing week at David’s condo! Our kids are ages 9, 7 and 4 and the place was perfect being on ground level with a beautiful grassy area for them to play. The interior was very clean and well equipped with necessities. There are also beach chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, sand toys and a wagon! The beds/pillows are comfortable. The property grounds are stunning with lush greenery and vibrant flowers. The pool is fun and clean - there’s even a gym and a family fun area with a ping pong table. The beach is gorgeous and only a few minutes walk from the condo - you have to cross a road but we felt very safe. The condo is one of the closest units to the beach and you have a little peekaboo view to the ocean from the lanai. There are restaurants within maybe a 15 minute walk. The area is very clean and safe. David was extremely responsive and kindly helped us out with our questions. Overall, it was an excellent stay at David’s place in Kihei! Memories for a lifetime!

Loved this stay! The complex is really lovely with a large grass area and landscaping. The unit was clean and comfortable, kitchen well equipped, and I loved the lanai with the table that looked out into the ocean. Very relaxing! David was a great host and very helpful.

Great location and nice condo. The bed is comfortable and it is a nice quiet community. The condo does need a little maintenance and cleaning. It also would have been nice to know about the construction being done to the building before our arrival.

Great place to stay, about a 2 minute walk to the beach!

It had everything we needed for the beach. Lawn chairs, cooler, floats, beach towels. Everything was close by and being on the 1st floor made it so convenient to wake up early and walk to the beach to have my morning coffee. This was a true and relaxing vacation. David, thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and prompt response when we needed you.

Phenomenal location for young kids! Covered porch leads right out to beautiful grass area where the kids played for hours! The best part is the location! It’s right across from Kam III which has the best beach and great swing set over looking the ocean. The kids also loved the pool area and my husband and I appreciated the gym area (it’s small and nothing fancy but so nice to have). David was always incredibly responsive and helpful during our stay. We will definitely be coming back!

We stayed at David’s place for 5 nights during our trip to Maui and it was a very memorable experience. Right from booking the place, David was proactive in his comms and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable as we were traveling with young kids. David provided easy and clear check in and checkout instructions and was in constant touch during our stay and very responsive for any questions we had. David also accommodated a late checkout request by a couple of hours that allowed my wife to cook lunch before we left to the airport. Highly recommend David’s place to anyone visiting Maui - great location with walkable access to Kamaole Beach and restaurants in the heart of Kihei. Deepak

My daughter and I had a lovely stay at David's place in Kihei. The condo was exactly as described, very clean, and an easy walk to the beach. Having that second bathroom was fantastic. The kitchen had everything you need. The beds were very comfortable (probably the most comfortable mattresses I've ever slept on in an Airbnb), and there was a variety of pillows, so you can choose one as thin or thick or fluffy or hard as you prefer. David was incredibly responsive, and answered our texts within minutes every time. He provided lots of great recommendations regarding local restaurants and activities. We loved the Old Lahaina Luau that he suggested. There are lots of beach supplies (beach cart, snorkeling gear, a few water shoes, beach towels, cooler, umbrella, water/sand toys for the kids--you name it). The listing says no hair dryer, but there is one. There are plenty of places for people to sit comfortably. I am so glad that I chose David's condo for our trip! HIGHLY recommended!

A great stay in Maui. It was great with easy access to beaches in Kihei. On top of that, at the stay we had all the necessary things needed to enjoy the vacation.

Great place in an excellent location. Centrally located directly across the street from the beach. Walking distance to many shops and restaurants.

Our family (two adults, one eight-year-old) had a wonderful stay here and would definitely rent again on our next trip to Maui. The ground floor unit made for extra convenience for quick walks to the beach and nearby restaurants & stores. Great location and very comfortable. David provides clear and detailed instructions and is very responsive. Would highly recommend.

The location and facilities matched up as described. The condo is on ground floor, so not much walking and access to the garden area is very convenient. Had a good time having meals at the balcony area. Definitely a good place, if you are able to utilize all the facilities provided. Other wise you may end up paying little more premium price because of near to beach and resort facilities. Host David is good but also remote, missed the interactions with a host who is physically available to talk. The facility and features were wonderful. We could not use to the fullest like accessing the beach, gym, pool etc. If you are on fly, may be non premium neighborhood might also work. Thanks David for hosting us, we enjoyed stay.

This was such a wonderful stay. I would seriously give this place 10 stars if I could. The location is walking distance to the beach - catching some of the most gorgeous views of the sunset. The host, David had awesome food recommendations (check out the Poke at South Maui Fish Co - it’s the best you’ll ever have) and activities to check out like traditional luau’s and the road to Hana. Our first trip to Hawaii was incredible, and I can’t wait to stay here again when we come back to visit!

David was very helpful throughout our stay. Loved the location of the condo, was close to everything, yet very quiet. The assigned parking space was nice to have. The king size bed was comfortable. Two bathrooms and 2 AC units definitely a plus.

Great location. Right across from the beach. The condo had a shower station just a few feet away so we could rinse off before coming in. We were also pleasantly surprised by the sofa bed in addition to the Murphy bed. I thought my kids were going to have to share. They loved having their own place to sleep.

Pros: Great location with friendly staff and an easy checkin. Both beds were comfortable, and it was great to have 2 bathrooms. Cons: Could use some maintenance work, snorkeling gear was dirty and thrown on the floor, and communication was slow. Definitely has potential to be 5 star but could use more attention overall

Our family had an amazing time in Maui and so grateful to have stayed at David’s condo! Great location, a 3 minute walk/just across the street from the beach- just as described. The condo was just as pictured and had lots of great beach gear/goodies available to use (beach chairs, umbrellas, lots of beach toys, snorkel gear (though we had our own), boogie boards, a cooler and a wagon (so convenient to load all the gear in). The kitchen was stocked with all your essentials, very convenient if you don’t want to eat out every meal. We had a little trouble with the dishwasher but David was very quick to respond to get it fixed. Loved having a washer and dryer available (nothing beats going home with clean clothes vs laundry to do). David was even gracious enough to point us in the direction of his favorite coffee spots and local eateries! Grateful to have stayed here, we hope to visit again soon!!

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. Probably the most important thing about the condo is the location - it is across the street from Kama'ole III beach, and of course, next to that one is Kama'ole I and II. You are also in walking distance of many restaurants and shops. Other pros for this condo are that it has 2 bathrooms. While there were only 2 of us, it makes life so much easier not to have to share a bathroom. The kitchen has everything you need in it. Yes, the condo is a bit dark, but if it was full of light it would also be hot. Yes, the air conditioning (1 in the living area and 1 in the room) work perfectly well, but we were able to only turn it on at night because it was not super sunny bright in the condo. The lanai or patio is nice and if you are sitting at the table or couch, it is plenty bright. One negative for me was the terrible blowdryer. If you have thick, longish hair that you blow dry, pack your own.

David thank you for hosting your place to us, we really enjoyed our stay. Location is great, 3 mins walk to the beach, walking distance to few good restaurants (Coconuts - fish place!) lots of beach supplies for whole family with kids, even had snorkelling gear, next time will save space in my baggage by not bringing any extra beach supplies. Place has absolutely everything you need for a comfortable stay, washer and drier inside was very good to have. Bedding was very comfortable, kitchen was well stocked with pots, dishes, great sharp knives, even blender. Loved that there was an iron. Being on the first floor was so great, makes it so much easier when you have kids. Two bathrooms with great water pressure! We didn’t use AC at all, only fans and opened windows. We had some rainy days. I have nothing bad to say about this place, very glad that chose this place.

Top notch all around. Great location right across from the beach and part of a lively (but not overly lively) community. The condo was perfect for our family of 4. Maybe a bit darker inside than it appeared in the pictures but that's a nitpick and overall we'd stay there again if we get back to Maui (fingers crossed).
